July 4th “Tea Party”

Location: Intersection of Foothill & Haven 12:00pm-2:00pm Street Rally
This will be our first big event! It will continue the spirit of the April 15th Tax Day Tea Parties (some of you may have participated in the one on Foothill and Daycreek). I urge you to bring your friends, families and fellow patriots! We will promote our message to everyone who drives by (and keep in mind that this is a VERY busy intersection)! Please bring American flags, historical American flags, signs promoting the constitution and our founding fathers. I ask that we keep the message upbeat and positive! (Please do not bring any anti-abortion or anti-illegal immigration signs, those will have to wait for another day.)
Because this rally is taking place on the 4th of July I am hoping we can get the people driving by to take a moment, however brief, to think about the founding of our great country. I encourage people to brings signs with slogans along the lines of:
“I Support the Constitution”
“No New Taxes”
“Give me Liberty”
“I support the 10th Amendment”
“Stop Taxation without Representation”
“God Bless America”
“Land of the Free?”

Over 1,600 people attended the April 15th Tea Party!
The drive by support was overwhelming! Smiles, honks and thumb ups!

Excellent choice for the time. We can attend and still have time for other family activities. We’ll be there and I’m telling all my friends to join us.
